School

Brief information about the School

School name is Sana Tara Samudayik Bidhyalaya, in English it is Small Star Community School. School was started in 2012. School provides books and payment to teachers through the help of partners and from local people who are working in abroad.

School Location:Dungdunge Children crossing river

School is located in Dungdunge is small village of around 50 houses, surrounded by jungle and river, village cut off by electricity, market, transportation, no health post. Locals hardly make up their living with limited corn grown. Mostly poor lives there and can't afford to send their children to town for school. Grown up kid goes to nearby school, they have to cross the river and walk two hours to the nearest government school. But for little guys, they can't because it's too far for them.

How to reach there?

There are two ways to reach this village. One, you drive up to small town call Domukha from the east west highways. Take a rest and repack your items because it is 3-4 hours hike to the School.

Other option is, cross the river 12 times and reach village. It is very fun during the winter as water comes to your waist.

How life before school was was planted

Students everyday life is put in peril of River, book are wet, clothes are wet and when they return home after spending almost a day in school, without snacks, they are tired, hungry and exhausted. You can't imagine if it is a little girl or boy of 6 years going to school every day. We build school in their own village so that they don't have to suffer like this.

Life becomes very hard and unimaginably difficult in summer, when only means of help to cross the river is by wheel's tube filled with air. More than 10 children hold on to the rope that is attached to the single tube and following the elder students who leads through the river. If something happens, all are gone. We build school so that they don't have to suffer like this.

What the Bible Says about the Children:

Children of NepalTrain a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6
And the King will say, 'I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me.' Mathew 25:40

But, You can help

You can help this school by donating fund to buy brick, cement, steel, room, wood, furniture and others. No amount is too small. Please help us build school for these precious children.

You can make a difference, write to us. One day, they would look back and say to you thank you for reshaping my life.
We wait to hear from you. We are helping the children in Dungdunge in Ilam to get education. We have begun the classes even though school is not complete. We do this out of our passion and love for the children who otherwise can't attend the school.

Need of the School

  1.  Set of Desktop computer and music box.
  2.  One set of TV and dish home.
  3. One set of CDMA Phone set.Dungdunge Village Nepal

Partnership in the School
